Sinus Lift Procedure
$750.00
Vestibular Sinis Lift: This type of sinus lift is done by opening a small window in the bone under the lip. This is to to access the sinus from under the cheek. Once the access is made the sinus is lifted so that a bone can be placed under the Sinus Menbrane. This then is covered with a collogen membrane to protect it from contamination. After 8 months of healing the area should look like the bottom 2 drawings on the left, This allows an Implant to be placed in the newly formed bone.
Chrestal Sinus Lift:
This type of procedure is done when the sinus has some bone. The Implant in this case may or may not be placed depending on the amount of bone that is still present. An access in the area where the implant is going to be placed is made. Then the instrument that is shown helps to lift the sinus Membrane and the membrane and bone are placed in the opening. The implant is then placed in the whole and the bone and membrane are pushed up into the sinus.
Not always can this be done, at the time. The graft is done and 8 months of healing is needed. After which the implant can be placed.
